The revisions add a sentence requiring manufacturers’ warranties for roofing and fasteners, update materials allowed on the exterior walls of nonaccessory sheds, and clarify where architectural metal siding may be permitted, the commission said. Commissioners committed to removing a conflicting sentence and placing all siding and roofing provisions together to avoid enforcement confusion.
