Logansport approves multi-contract AV, CCTV and Wi‑Fi package for clubhouse; financed over five years

The Logansport Court of Public Works and Safety voted to approve four separate contracts with Innovative Concepts Audio & Video Inc. to install a clubhouse CCTV security system, digital signage, an interior/exterior audio system and a clubhouse network/Wi‑Fi system.

A staff presenter described the package as four distinct contracts covering security cameras, digital signs with rotating content, custom audio for different rooms and a network/Wi‑Fi installation that will also support maintenance operations. The presenter said the project is part of a loan agreement the city arranged with Security Federal Bank and that the city will amortize the work over five years. “We'll be paying for this over the next 5 years. I think approximately 35,000 a year,” the presenter said.

Board members voted on each contract individually and approved them. The board recorded no substantial objections during the discussion; members asked for the contracts to be considered and called the question on each element (CCTV, digital signage, audio system, and network/Wi‑Fi).

Officials noted the network/Wi‑Fi installation will allow maintenance connectivity at the clubhouse and may replace an existing cellular arrangement used at another city facility. The contracts were described as part of a larger clubhouse upgrade that also includes simulators and related room equipment included in the financing.

Because four related but separate contracts were approved, staff will execute each agreement and proceed with procurement and installation work under the loan schedule. The board did not discuss alternative funding sources during the public portion of the meeting.
