The Tooele City Planning Commission voted 6-0 on May 14 to approve the preliminary subdivision plan for the Lehi Townhomes, converting an existing single lot (Lot 105 of Lexington at Overlake) into 13 townhome lots, one common area and two limited common areas.
Planner Kent Page said the site, roughly 1.29 acres at 1255 North 680 West, is zoned MR-16 and lies within Lot 105 of the Lexington at Overlake subdivision. Page noted public improvements for the subdivision were previously dedicated and that the proposal meets preliminary-plan standards subject to the city's standard conditions for preliminary plats and applicable public-works and fire requirements.
Commissioner Proctor moved to approve the preliminary subdivision plan for Lot 105 townhomes of Lexington and Overlake; Commissioner Hamilton seconded. The commission voted unanimously to approve the plan, which will advance to final plat steps consistent with the city’s subdivision review process.
