RAC endorses conservation permit rule changes, signals Antelope Island MOU ahead

The Central Region Advisory Council on May 13 voted unanimously to recommend rule amendments to the division’s conservation and sportsman permit program that the DWR said will better align permit timing and enable a fuller MOU with Antelope Island.
Kobi Jones, wildlife section chief for the division, told the RAC the changes include moving a permit-extension date to after hunts conclude and creating rule language that will allow an Antelope Island MOU to provide more public benefit from permits issued on the island.
