The board of trustees for the village of Indian Head Park accepted the April 2025 consolidated election results certified by the Cook County Clerk and swore in three elected trustees at the May 8 meeting.
President Amy Jo Wittenberg announced the certified results and asked for a motion to accept them. A motion and second were recorded; trustees voted by voice and the motion passed. The board then conducted a formal swearing-in ceremony for Charles Eck, Anthony Iannaco and Eileen Murphy Donnersberger. Retired Cook County Chancery Judge David Donersberger administered the oaths.
Nut graf: The board followed statutory certification procedures by accepting the Cook County clerk’s certified results on the record and completing the oath of office for the newly elected trustees during the same meeting.
Each new trustee repeated the oath for the record while taking the oath for the office of trustee in the village. After the swearing-in, President Wittenberg thanked Judge David Donersberger for administering the oath. Trustees present then proceeded with the remainder of the agenda.
Ending: The acceptance of the results and the oath-taking were completed during the May 8 meeting; board business continued afterward.
