The Haverford Township School District board on Thursday approved routine finance items including disbursements of $582,280.29, a budget expansion report and budget transfers presented by the finance office.

The board approved the bill list for payment and then approved an informational budget expansion report that staff described as funds received under various programs with eligible expenditures offsetting the revenues (neutral to the bottom line). Trustees asked clarifying questions about which school year carryovers represented and were told the carryovers were from the prior year.

The board also approved budget transfers; administration said the transfers were routine and consistent with the final budget work schedule. Finance staff indicated the final budget schedule remains on track for approval in June.
