Lycoming County prison reports mental health rosters and psychotropic medication rates

Lycoming County prison staff reported inmate counts on mental‑health rosters and the share receiving psychotropic medications across facilities.

Staff said 89 inmates (31.34%) were on roster C with current mental‑health issues and 15 inmates (5.28%) were on roster D experiencing some form of serious mental illness. At the prerelease center, of 34 male inmates 12 (35.29%) were receiving psychotropic medication; of 8 female inmates 4 (50%) were receiving medications. In the jail, of 183 male inmates 88 (48.09%) were receiving medications. Overall percentages presented were: prerelease center males 38.1%, prison 45.79%, and the entire prison system 44.53%.
