The representative said Speck’s presentations drew good public interest and that the author’s implementation-focused publication will be used as a reference as the city develops specific design guidance for curb cuts, sidewalk and street-edge improvements. The representative said staff and committee members will reconvene to translate those ideas into locally tailored guidelines and will report back to the ARB as the process moves forward.
