The infrastructure committee recommended awarding the lowest qualified bids for work in Akron, Brimfield, Chillicothe, Elmwood, Hollis, Jubilee, Kickapoo, Logan, Princeville, Radnor, Rosefield/Roseville, Timber and Trivoli townships. Member Salzer noted the routine nature of the program and that three contractors will perform the assigned township work across the county.
Member Windisch abstained from the vote due to his role as a township road commissioner; the roll call recorded 14 ayes and 1 abstention. County engineering staff will administer the contracts and oversee project schedules and quality control for the 2025 maintenance season.
