Committee members praised the finance team and administration for achieving a balanced, classroom‑focused budget while other districts face cuts. The proposal was moved and approved by roll call vote during the special meeting.
Administration said the budget aligns with the district's four priorities and that most funds are allocated across the district's 70+ schools and programs. The motion to recommend the FY26 budget passed at the meeting; committee members did not amend the proposal during the session.
