The county identified the parcel as "2A-0980-0000," a 0.04-acre (about 1,742-square-foot) lot. Commissioners said the neighboring parcel "2A-0975-0000" measures about 0.07 acres and the state is seeking both parcels to consolidate holdings but that only one parcel was before the commission for action at this meeting.
Commissioners said the parcel had little county use; one commissioner joked about putting a county office there. The commission passed a motion to approve the purchase agreement by voice vote.
The vote authorizes sale of the identified parcel to the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources; county staff noted ongoing conversations with other landowners in the area about additional transfers but no related action was before the commission at the meeting.
