The Dickson County Planning Commission approved the site plan for Tennessee Commercial Electric LLC during its May 8 meeting.
County staff said the site plan covers a 2.201-acre parcel on Woodstown Hill Road with an entrance on West Iron Hill Road; the property borders Highway 46 South and will be surrounded by a landscape buffer with perimeter security lighting. Staff noted adjoining properties are zoned A-1 agricultural and used for farming.
Commissioner discussion was minimal; the commission member representing the district reported no objections. Commissioner Chase moved to approve the site plan and a second was recorded; the motion carried by voice vote.
The approval allows the applicant to proceed to required follow-up steps such as site-plan implementation and any building permits needed for construction and occupancy, subject to standard county inspections and code compliance checks.
