WOBURN, Sept. 11, 2025 — The Woburn Conservation Commission issued a Determination of Applicability (Negative 3) for Felix Ramos’s house addition at 1 First Road after the applicant supplied plan updates and a letter about invasive tree cutting. Ramos told the commission that he had submitted the additional materials requested at the prior meeting, including the location of trees relative to the wetland line.
A commissioner noted the stamped plan appears to show tree points that may not have been field surveyed and advised crossing out or correcting the surveyor’s stamp and clarifying existing vs. proposed conditions on the plan. The commission also confirmed that stumps noted in the narrative will remain on site and that no tree cutting beyond those stumps was proposed.
With no members of the public speaking on the matter, a commissioner moved to close the public hearing and the commission voted to issue a Negative 3 Determination. The transcript records one abstention during the related motions.
What’s next: The clerk will file the Negative 3 Determination and note the commission’s comments about plan labeling and survey stamping; applicants should correct the plan per the commission’s request.
