White County OKs roughly $485,000 summer program budget, to be reimbursed by state

Board members voted to appropriate $410,090.31 for the summer learning camps and $74,379.12 for transportation, for a total of about $484,469.43. Director Drombarger said the state will reimburse the district for those costs and that the district must have the budgets in place to begin programming on schedule.

Details from the meeting: Drombarger told trustees the summer program is scheduled to run in June. The transportation allocation covers shuttle and bus services tied to the program.
Board member Smith moved for approval of the ledger entries; Mr. McDonald seconded the motion and the board approved it by voice vote.
