County awards $751,850 contract for masonry and flashing work at government complex

Bassilay, Cary and Allstead Architects Ltd., the property committee and the state's attorney's office reviewed the bids and recommended Western Specialty Contractors as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
The resolution authorizes the county board chairman to execute a contract with Western Specialty Contractors in the amount of $751,850. The motion to approve the contract was made by Mister Reed and seconded by Mister Torres; the board approved the award by roll call vote.
The resolution states the contract terms and conditions in the attached exhibit and that the resolution takes effect on passage and approval.
