Andy, city staff, described the proposed setup as a roughly 1,800‑square‑foot tent with a storage container located at the Fairway store on the south side of Laurel Street. Andy said the fire department and building staff reviewed the permit, that all comments had been addressed, and recommended approval. He described hours of operation as 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and said early days would be used for setup.
Council member Battenberg announced a potential conflict and stated she would abstain from the vote. On the roll call, Council member Kron, Council member Sinclair, Council member Grove and Council member Pierce voted Yes; Council member Battenberg recorded an abstention. The permit passed.
