Historic Society launches Revolution West Windsor logo contest and backs $20,700 restoration architect contract

Gay Huber, vice president of the Historic Society of West Windsor, told the council during public comment on April 21 that the society and several local groups are coordinating events for the town's observance of the nation's 250th anniversary and launched a logo contest for "Revolution West Windsor." "This contest started yesterday and will run till June 1," Huber said. "The winner will be announced at this year's township picnic to be held on June 14. Huber thanked the mayor, council and administration for continued support and explicitly voiced the society's support for resolution 2025‑R111, which appears on the council's consent agenda as a resolution authorizing the mayor and clerk to execute a professional services agreement for architectural services for the 2025 restoration project at the historic Shanks Farmstead for $20,700.
