She also criticized the landscaping and suggested the railings should have been powder coated rather than left with a rusted appearance. Preenham urged the council to require the contractor or project manager to fix the defects so the improvements last as intended.
Councilors did not take a formal action during the meeting on the waterfront complaints; staff follow-up was implied but no timeline or directive to a specific department was recorded.
