Representative Pamela Carter told the House the Senate and House have adopted language to add countywide candidates and county supervisors to the state's Clean Elections pamphlet. "It's it's a pretty simple ad. In our clean elections pamphlet, we did not have any county wide candidates listed. And this requires the countywide candidates as well as county supervisors to be included in the Clean Elections pamphlet," Carter said.
Carter said the measure passed both chambers "almost unanimously" and that she would like the Governor to sign it so voters have more information about candidates. The transcript records the sponsor's concurrence with the Senate amendments; no roll-call vote is included in the excerpt.
