Papillion library awarded $8,250 Meta community grant for devices

Powers said the grant follows an earlier round of Meta funding that purchased the libraryʼs initial devices; the new award covers the first round of replacements and was presented at a grant ceremony attended by library director Mary Black, assistant library director Matt Kovar, and Danielle Schultz. Powers thanked Meta for the support and noted other Sarpy County nonprofits were recognized at the ceremony.
The council did not take formal action on the grant during the meeting; the item was presented as part of the administratorʼs report.
