The director noted new memorial trees and benches were installed and that a disc-golf fundraising event has raised about $1,000 toward concrete tee pads. He thanked donors and volunteers by name: Jack Carroll with Purity Wholesale Foods for candy and a monetary donation, Andrew Johnson with Centra Credit Union for donating 700 filled eggs, and Patty Bohannon and her Lebanon High School class for stuffing eggs for the Easter event.
Program details included lifeguard certification classes hosted by Thomas Ingalls, and swim-lesson registration for children ages 3–10 with two-week sessions in June and July at a stated cost of $70 per participant. The director said staff orientation is scheduled for May 17 and opening day for the water facilities is planned for Memorial Day weekend.
