Staff also told council the Economic & Community Development ordinance was recently amended and that staff had provided an updated ordinance to council members; staff said the new language allows certain uses for EDC funds tied to community and economic development objectives.
Outcome: Motion to approve the budget adjustment passed (motion by Councilor Bradshaw; second by Councilor Roscoe). The funds will be transferred and used to cover the police forfeiture account payment for the vehicle; staff will reflect the transfer in the fiscal records.
