Items approved on consent included a second reading of an ordinance amending the second year of the village’s biennial budget for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2024 and ending April 30, 2025; a second reading adopting the biennial budget update for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2025 and ending April 30, 2026; a second reading of an ordinance amending Title 1 of the municipal code to update the comprehensive fee schedule; a second reading of an ordinance amending Title 3 concerning the number of liquor licenses; a resolution approving the appointment of a building commissioner and deputy building commissioners; and a resolution approving the Village of Lake Bluff’s 2025–26 official pay plan.
No member removed an item from the consent agenda for separate discussion. The clerk conducted a roll-call vote and trustees recorded affirmative votes; the board extended best wishes to a local business (comment noted in the record) and continued to the next business.
