Council schedules budget amendment public hearing to allocate reserves for Ridgewaters kiddie slide replacement

A public hearing was scheduled as required for the budget amendment; one proponent, a resident identified as Ready Frost of 2000 Roberts Avenue, spoke in favor of replacing the slide, saying it helps keep children active.
The matter proceeds through the budget amendment process; no final appropriation beyond scheduling the hearing was taken at the May 7 meeting.
