Rosemount wins Real Estate Journal city award again; staff begin fire-staffing study proposals

On operational planning, a staff member identified in the meeting as Martin said the city “do[es] have 2 firms that submitted their qualifications for consideration to move on to the proposal level for our fire staffing and response model, analysis study.” He said staff will review qualifications and invite qualified firms to submit full proposals. No contract award or budget appropriation was voted at the meeting; staff described the procurement as an ongoing administrative process.
The council and staff framed the awards as recognition of the city’s internal work across departments, with council members praising staff and leadership for economic development and community-building efforts.
