The Lenawee County Probate & Juvenile Court granted a petition to appoint Jamie Hill as personal representative of the estate of Robert Park and admitted a will dated Sept. 6, 2024 to probate, the judge said.
Dominic Spinazzi, counsel for the petitioner, told the court that Jamie Hill, the decedent’s niece, had filed the necessary documents and published notice. Spinazzi said the heirs had signed notices and consented to the appointment. The judge found that Robert Park died on Oct. 2, 2024, was a resident of Lenawee County and that the heirs were properly determined and uncontested. The judge stated the will dated Sept. 6, 2024 "should be entered and guide the administration of the estate" and that supervised administration was not necessary.
Spinazzi confirmed all required documents had been filed and that publication had been completed. The court entered an order granting the petition, admitting the will to probate and appointing Hill as personal representative; the order also reflects the determination of heirs and directs administration under the admitted will.
The judge offered condolences to Hill. The court clerk will issue letters and provide copies of the order to counsel and interested parties in the regular course.
