The Tricentennial Committee’s fundraising update May 7 reported 61 engraved-brick transactions totaling $18,315 and 21 mini-brick transactions totaling $350; the committee also trained additional volunteers on Bloomerang donor-management software to support outreach and sponsorship tracking.
The fundraising lead said the Bloomerang newsletter was sent April 24 to about 305 recipients and that new software users (Michelle, Karen and others) were set up to help with constituent outreach and sponsor tracking. The committee discussed posting HTML newsletter content on the town website to permit “click here” browser links once the site can host the content.
Committee members said they are preparing a May newsletter focused on brick sales and that volunteer-led group-sales and discount tiers are being developed to accelerate bulk purchases. Volunteers will staff upcoming plant-sale tables and transfer-station outreach to promote bricks, and the committee discussed drafting prospect lists and tiered solicitation literature to begin outreach in June.
