House-tour working group forms; aims for 10–15 houses and a June date in 2027

The group’s first meeting drew nine volunteers, and committee members said Kate Battles will take a lead role. Volunteers include realtors and residents familiar with local houses. The working group plans to contact homeowners to propose participation and to research the June 2027 calendar to avoid conflicts such as graduation dates.
Committee members said the working group prefers an early-June Saturday but will confirm a date after checking school and town calendars. The committee also discussed the option of a garden-house tour format so homeowners can limit access if they prefer to show only gardens rather than entire interiors.
The working group will return with proposed houses and a recommended date once they complete outreach and confirm calendar conflicts.
