Roger and Cody are working on additional shade options for the Austin Memorial Library, and the board discussed involving the CISD career and technical-education (CTE) class as a collaborative project; staff noted the current CTE class is running out of time and that a partnership may be better suited to the next school year.
Board members encouraged continued coordination between city staff, the EDC and CISD; no construction contracts or budget appropriations were approved at the meeting.
