Commissioners say inspection of county’s 266 Second Street purchase was satisfactory; elevator modernization noted

A commissioner raised a facilities note, saying the building's elevator will need modernization in the near term. "The only thing... I’ve mentioned a couple of you guys' that elevator needs a modernization, which could be a thousand ish, probably a little more," the commissioner said, adding that the work would likely occur over the next two years.
Forest Service staff and the board agreed to continue processing the purchase and to include any known facility costs in upcoming budget considerations. No formal vote or additional funding authorization for elevator work was taken at the meeting.
