The council requested that language be added so the contractor’s insurance would be primary in the event of covered loss to city property. The amendment was offered and incorporated prior to the vote.
Council members said the police department had recommended continuing the contract because of “very good results” with Tony's over the years. The amended resolution passed by voice vote; meeting minutes record “Aye” and “Motion carried.”
