Commissioners said the one-line scope of work in the draft agreements should be augmented with the applicants' original, detailed applications or a statement of work.
One commissioner told colleagues the lodging-tax applications are extensive and often detail operations, prior results and requested expenditures, and suggested the board include the application as an exhibit in the agreement so the public can see how funds will be used. Another commissioner concurred that linking or appending the application avoids recreating material already supplied during the application process.
Following that exchange, commissioners said they would approve the two resolutions and associated contract dates and asked staff to produce an exhibit or link to the original applications for the public record. The board did not record a separate roll-call tally during the discussion.
