The Tarbox proposal totaled $157,005 and is 100% reimbursable under the RIF grant; the RIF award total for the larger project is $3,005,671, which includes construction funds. Tarbox will produce roadway, stormwater and utility design and obtain required permits. Commissioners confirmed the procurement fits within the county's continuing-services GEC contract thresholds.
Votes and next steps: The board approved both the design-build award and the engineering proposal in the consent/regular agenda. Staff will return the signed contracts and proceed with the design and permitting sequence; the station contractor estimated approximately five months to substantial completion once the contract is executed and engineering and permitting are complete.
