The Monongalia County Commission approved a fiduciary commissioner’s recommendation May 7 to accept final settlement and close the estate of Raymond Martin Jr.
Fiduciary commissioner George Armistead informed the commission that dispute claims filed against the estate had been settled or withdrawn and recommended final settlement and closure. The commission moved, seconded and unanimously approved the recommendation.
Commissioners also recorded for the minutes that an objection had been filed in the estate of Zaquan Christopher George concerning payment of a bond; that objection was withdrawn the day before the meeting, and no further action was taken.
No additional financial details of the estates were read into the record during the public meeting.
