County awards two contracts totaling up to $3 million for sewer manhole work and MPO planning services

The second award is a continuing-services agreement for Martin Metropolitan Planning Organization transportation-planning services with a maximum not-to-exceed value of $1,500,000 over three years; staff recommended awards to the four highest-scoring firms (Kimley-Horn and Associates, Marlin Engineering, WSP USA and T.Y. Lin International).
The board moved and unanimously approved the staff recommendations. Staff instructed the county administrator or designee to execute contracting documents and to proceed with implementation per procurement rules.
