Facilities supervisor Chris (Drake) reviewed snow-removal work and maintenance costs from the recent winter, telling the committee: “I want to do a quick winter recap as far as snow removal goes and I do this every year.” He said the county used 7,720 pounds of salt (193 40-pound bags) at a cost of $1,254, paid an employee 39 hours for removal assistance ($975), and estimated $300 for fuel, for a total of $2,529.50.
