The motion to set a public hearing passed on a roll‑call vote with Mayor Therese Long, Mayor Pro Tem Clinton Ballard and Commissioners Anthony Long, Andrew Hague, Katie Schaeffer, Jason Emery and Commissioner Host voting yes. The public hearing was scheduled for Oct. 6, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. in the municipal building.
Ending: staff will notify interested parties, post required notices and present evidence at the Oct. 6 hearing; the commission’s action at the Sept. 8 meeting set only the hearing, not a final demolition order.
