Tooele County commissioners approved a three-year marketing agreement with the Tooele County Chamber of Commerce at their May 2025 meeting. Nathan Harris, assistant county attorney, presented the contract and said it extends a prior one-year arrangement to provide continuity for the county’s marketing efforts.
Harris said the new contract includes provisions requiring measurable metrics so the commission can evaluate whether the Chamber’s work yields results. He told commissioners that apart from the new metrics the contract is substantially the same as the prior agreement.
Councilman Stromberg moved to approve the agreement; the motion was seconded and passed on a voice vote. No dollar amounts were discussed in the staff presentation during the meeting.
