Selectmen said all appointees should be sworn in at the town clerk’s office before beginning committee work; the town clerk was not in attendance, and appointees were told to go to the clerk to be sworn when she is available.
Selectmen discussed the committee size and noted they received several resumes; one selectman said the town needed a strong effort to vet candidates and expressed support for the chosen members. The board said the committee will receive the resumes and start its work once sworn.
