Council OKs alcohol licenses for two new Heritage Walk restaurants

Milton City Council unanimously approved alcohol beverage licenses for two new restaurants from the Vice Restaurant Group at Heritage Walk.
The first license, agenda item 25-108, is for Vice Restaurant Group LLC doing business as Smashed by Vice at 3100 Heritage Walk, Suite 101. The second, agenda item 25-109, is for Vice Restaurant Group LLC doing business as Vice Steak Bar at 3000 Heritage Walk, Suite 101. Both applicants applied for on-premises consumption of wine and malt beverages; Vice Steak Bar also sought distilled spirits. Each application included Sunday sales and a request for a resident alcohol beverage caterer license.
Deputy City Manager Bernadette Harvill presented both applications and noted that each location qualifies as a full-service restaurant under the Unified Development Code based on floorplan and food-sales thresholds. The public hearing phase drew no speakers in support or opposition, and council voted to approve both licenses during the new-business block.
Approvals were unanimous; council did not add conditions beyond standard licensing requirements.
