Mark Fetti (city staff) told the board he reviewed the EMS contract and found a single wording change was needed: the contract should require a separate bank account for EMS LIT proceeds rather than just a separate fund accounting line. He said EMS counsel had reviewed the proposed amendment and indicated no objection.
Council action followed a motion to approve the contract amendment; Council member Tommy Roulette moved the amendment and Brett (board member) seconded. The Board of Works approved the amendment by voice vote with all members saying “Aye.” The amendment clarifies the city’s bookkeeping and financial-controls approach for EMS LIT revenue.
No other changes to the contract were discussed or approved at the meeting.
