The Greece Central School District presented its 2025 Power of Partnership award to the Bob Johnson Auto Group for a multi-year partnership that district leaders said expanded in-school mentoring into career-focused internships, driver’s-license support and paid summer employment for students.
A district representative told the board the partnership, developed in coordination with the district’s school-to-career pathways coordinator, now provides off-site work-based learning hours and transportation via a Bob Johnson shuttle to remove barriers to participation. The presentation described the partnership as supporting workplace mentoring, practical skills and equity of access to post-graduation opportunities.
District staff said the commemorative plaque will be presented formally at the Bob Johnson facility in June and thanked the mentors, coordinating teams and students involved in the program.
