Alpharetta renews several community contracts and facility-use agreements for programs and concessions

The Alpharetta City Council unanimously approved a batch of routine vendor and nonprofit agreements covering concessions and facility rentals.
Council approved renewal of the concessions contract with Wanna Play Baseball Inc. to operate pool concessions at Wills Park Pool for the coming season. Director Rogers said the company has operated pool concessions since the pool renovation and staff recommended renewal.
The council also approved a memorandum of understanding allowing Lionheart Works to continue using office space at the Crabapple Government Center; Lionheart Works provides employment-related services for adults with special needs and has occupied the space for about eight years, staff said.
Finally, the council approved a one-year memorandum of understanding with Senior Services North Fulton to continue rental of Crabapple Government Center space for senior programming. Director Rogers noted Senior Services North Fulton is a nonprofit that provides programs for seniors and that the city owns the facility.
There was no public comment on these items at the meeting. Council members expressed support for the organizations and appreciation for the services they provide to the community.
