On second reading, the Alpharetta City Council unanimously approved an ordinance to add the John C. Weatherford House, located at 1903 Canton Street, to the city's historic resources inventory and designated historic buildings list.
Director Cook told the council there were no changes from the first reading and was available to answer questions; no public comments were submitted on the item. The second-reading ordinance amends Article 2 of the Unified Development Code and appends the Weatherford House to Appendix B, Historic Resources Inventory.
Mayor Pro Tem Markel moved to approve the second reading; Councilman Hipes seconded the motion. The council voted unanimously to adopt the designation.
