Closed: Staff recommended—and the hearing officer signed off on—closing the file for 19 Grove after the owner submitted requested materials. A permit and survey for the garage built on state property at 56 Nursery were submitted; staff told the hearing the owner dropped off a reduced copy of the survey on April 21 and inspectors will proceed with final review and certificate issuance, so the violation file will be closed with no fines recommended if inspections pass.
Continued: A contractor‑yard complaint at 6 Van Tassel Court showed progress—vehicles and much of the wood pile have been removed—but remaining material prompted staff to continue that matter to May 28 with the expectation that the yard will be cleared or fines considered. A contract‑yard/house‑fire case at 17 Dairy Farm was discussed and staff noted the site is secured after a basement fire and working with insurance; zoning staff recommended closing the case but to reassess if conditions change.
Hearing officer Robert Maslow said staff will follow up and will schedule inspections before closing remaining files. Several matters on the agenda were scheduled for the May 28 hearing to allow time for final inspections, permit filings and staff follow‑up.
