Walton County TRC approves multiple minor projects, continues several major items to May meetings

The Walton County Technical Review Committee on April 16 conditionally approved several minor development applications and continued multiple larger projects so outstanding technical and environmental comments can be addressed.

The actions matter because TRC decisions clear or delay applications before public hearings at the Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners; continuances preserve the county—s review timeline while staff and applicants resolve outstanding technical, engineering and environmental items.

The committee voted to continue the Twin Valley Subdivision to the May 7 TRC meeting. The South Walton Mosquito Control District Fleet Maintenance Building (MIN25-000092) received conditional approval to move forward to a development order pending resubmittal and satisfaction of any fire‑department comments. Carrying and Sharing of South Walton (minor development) and Peach Creek Manor (MIN20-0455) were conditionally approved to move forward to their next review stages subject to resolution of outstanding comments.
