Commission names Chamber liaison and previews Dorothea Pocket Park activation

Commissioners also reported on a community planning group working on the Dorothea Pocket Park pilot. The commission learned organizers plan a closure of the stretch of Dorothea between Coolidge and the adjacent alley near the school for about one month in the second week of June to activate the space and collect business and community feedback on programming, timing and impacts. The group will use that month to test activation strategies and report back to the community on what worked and what did not.
