Commissioner Eudin and others pushed for both short‑term operational remedies (mobile units, prioritizing county residents) and a local ordinance that would create enforcement tools against scalpers.
Outcome: The commission voted 8‑0 to ask the county attorney to draft an ordinance for board consideration and to direct staff and the tax collector to continue working with the state on mobile units and other interim operational steps.
