Council members identified three corrections needed before the document is finalized: add a letter from Diane Keith of the Federal Lands to Parks program dated Nov. 28, 2023; remove the ELUR (environmental land use restriction) page that appears as the final page of the current draft; and replace the well‑map on plan page 27 with a detailed map produced by the town’s wastewater management specialist and GIS coordinator.
Councilor Maher moved to approve the 2024 plan (with the cover date changed to 2025) as drafted by VHB with the listed amendments; Councilor Marr seconded. The motion spelled out the three specific edits and directed staff to send a copy of the corrected plan to Diane Keith, who the council identified as program manager for the Federal Lands to Parks program for the Northeast Region. The council voted 5–0 to approve the motion.
Council discussion acknowledged outstanding editorial corrections and earlier review steps; councilors said the amended document should be provided to the Federal Lands to Parks program for its records. The council also noted that an ELUR entry in the draft had not been approved previously and therefore should not appear as a final page.
