County childcare-certification update: officials say more providers needed and regional office changes worry staff

She said one regional office moved from Chicago to Kansas City, and staff expressed uncertainty about whether positions remained in the area following that change.
Committee members did not adopt actions at the meeting but scheduled a follow-up review with DCF and said they hope to expand provider recruitment and certification assistance locally.
